US privacy regulations called COPPA (Child Online Privacy Protection Act) state that parental permission is needed if a company collects any personal data about children aged under 13.

To comply with this we ask that parents or guardians do the registration (sign-up) task if their child is under 13, in the knowledge that we will store the provided first name, surname, email address and any survey responses.

We will also store - if provided - school and class name, or sports club and squad name, so that we can provide data to schools or sports clubs who enable their users to sign in to Skillabus for free.

Skillabus does not share any personal data with third parties for marketing/advertising purposes.

In line with European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements you can ask us to see the information we hold on you/your child, and for it to be deleted if you wish.
